Got an email asking about a poll related to designing a reverb/delay pedal. They also seem to have a working prototype, so it looks like that's next in the pipeline.

    Makes sense.

Didn’t expect them to have an entire new company built around only a single pedal offering lol

Doesn't Dunlop have enough delay pedals?

    yeah but do they djent

Seems like they're going for all the extras on this pedal. Combining delay and reverb, a shimmer effect, etc etc.

Haha exactly, plus the Precision Drive doing well allows us to fund the other pedals we want to do which allows me to keep having fun with it!

The world has enough delay pedals, guitars and gear in general. That hasn’t stopped literally every company ever from developing their own take on them, and it certainly won’t stop us either.

Very excited for you to buy one!

Sorry Meesh, but I already have a delay I'm happy with. :(

If you can please give it a mix control where zero is totally dry, noon is 50/50, and fully clockwise is completely wet

Most reverbs I've tried including the MXR Reverb and Neunaber Immerse sounded great in demo's but, when I tried them they could never get wet enough.

There was either too little reverb in the mix or I had to kill-dry which was overkill.

I saw the vid. Seems like by default it really does the old Spanner/Tesseract ambient clean thing really well without needing a pod and dual signal path.

I thought @bulb 's signature delay was the Invective.

I really enjoy that type of sound and never wanted to invest in the gear necessary so a single pedal sounds perfect to me.

Ya I did the survey as well.

I pretty much voted for all the possible options....for the comments I wrote in Top Jacks because thats actually a pretty big deal for me.

Its a likely buy for me either way

Sorry, but I think top jacks are a nuisance.

Top mount jacks are the future, the truth, the way and the light. I've drilled and mounted top mount jacks into pedals before because I absolutely loathe side mount.

Side mount wastes valuable pedalboard real estate.

The truth. I can cram so much more stuff much closer together with top mount. Every pedal I’ve made is top-mount and it’s so clean looking.

Keep your top jacks. They are an absolute pain in the ass to connect using regular patch cables, especially when you have pedals with side jacks. If you need more space, either buy a bigger board, or maybe use only one mid boosting, bass cutting overdrive instead of two.

Really? Because with side jack pedals and regular right angle cables, it's anything but what I would call "clean looking."

    Man, I already use a PT3, and that's scaled down. I used to run two PT3's and a PT1.

Top mount lets me keep everything clean, and maximizes the space I have available on the board.

Side mount wastes space, and I find it aesthetically less pleasing.

Side jack pedals and top mount pedals is anything but "clean cabling." I find that to be pretty unpleasant aesthetically. I'd rather have side jacks, thanks.

Probably buying one when it comes out, especially if it's MXR building them again. Love my Precision Drive, keen to see how this turns out.
