Just a quick hello.
I was refered to this site when trying to access extendedrangeguitar.com so, if there's anyone who might know me from there, hello.
Hi Karl, there's been a lot of name changes lately, you'd know me (dpmasunder), Bucketbot is now Donnie, Revsharp is now Shannon, etc.
Welcome, how's the BC Rich coming along?
Ah, lo there DPM.
I've been told the ETA on the BC Rich is July/August, so I hope to have an update soon.
In the meantime I got myself this baby here:
1527s are nice guitars, that one's beautiful.
Nice! Adapting to it OK?
Pfft... Adapting to it? It's adapting to ME!
Seriously, it's a very nice guitar altogether, and once I had it set up I was flying.
hey dpm, check out his intonation, it's only slightly better than mine
no, his looks like it would work
Explain this joke to me, I am curious.
dpm was picking on me the other day because my bridge saddles on one of my guitars have never been adjusted and are all in a straight line. Being the tech-moron I am sometimes, I've never noticed a problem, and the guitar plays like a dream
dd has an Ibanez with the saddles in a straight line, the strings all the same length
he claims the intonation is good but that is physically impossible
that's got to play sooooooooo sharp
you'll be playing F# on the 12th fret bass E
pick pick pick
The intonation probably is horrible, but I don't know The guitar plays and sounds great to me and chords ring true and in tune even at the 15th-22nd frets.
Most of the leads on my album were played with that red S guitar, and they all sound fairly in key
Bah, it's just because you're X.
Talk about a thread hijack, eh?
yeah, exactly. Hey Karl asked for it
Yeah, I did open by big mouth.
Welcome Karl...man that's some funny shit Vince, altough listenning to your music I find it hard to believe...good eye dpm for noticing!
