Thanks for letting me know, I haven't been doing my homework for a few years :)

I'm considering a mini Recto. Since there's a bunch of good high gain lunchbox amps being made, they are a good alternative to a 1x12 combo.

I had a 20:20 at some point, it has a standby switch on both sides ? Never had any issue running one side only.

And as it's turning into a wish list, a 1U 6L6 power amp would be nice, Fryette has one in the works so I believe it's possible.

As far as a wishlist goes, Rackmount Roadster, as if we'd ever see that.

Cool I have been through quite a few Mesa and always thing I want something new and end up going right back to the Rectifier series. I love my dual with a Maxon OD 808 up front best tone ever for me... Cool to have you all on the board.

Thanks for the kind words! I'll ask about the reasons behind stereo vs. mono - but I can tell you that there is absolutely no issues running 1/2 of a stereo power amp. Simply keep one channel on standby, or with the output all the way down, and no signal to the channel being used. Thanks!

    +1

I LOVED my friends triple rec before it died by some drunken dumbass tripping and tossing a HUGE cup of beer in the back of it in the middle of practice. :noplease:

How about a preamp along those lines?

Well, I'm not able to share any info regarding potential upcoming products until they are announced, but there are always new things brewing!

I have a technical question for MB.

I always make my general setting selections before even turning the amp on at all. (wattage, voltage, rectification, voicing-mode)

Which, if any of these four can be safely done while at full power, and which changes should only be made while in standby, or completely turned off?

I can definitely hear and feel the differences between bold and spongy, and tube vs diode, but have always been afraid to toggle back and forth for a more direct comparison.
It's not like it's any trouble to flip on standby to do a change, just wondering what the official recommendations are regarding this.

You can make the changes at full power without a problem. If you'd like any specifics on any of the settings, just let me know! Thanks!

It's cool seeing you guys here :) Unfortunately the Mesa agency in my country no longer exists, but maybe one day I'll have the opportunity to try one of your Mark amps :)

Plugging an EBMM JP into a triple rec at work one day and having people come down from the PA department to complain that it was too damn loud while I was jamming out some riffs from Pull Me Under will always be one of my fondest memories of over the top ampy goodness, it was only set to about 9 o' clock on the master volume :D
