Hi. What is the difference between that tone zone and a regular one?

I can't identify the difference; this is the only Tone Zone I've owned. Visually, aside from being marked as a Tone Zone Custom, it looks identical to a Tone Zone from the outside. I sent an e-mail to DiMarzio a while back asking about the pickup, and beyond finding out that it's a real DiMarzio pickup and likely 20 years old or more they were unable to provide any further information. I was told that DiMarzio would need to inspect the pickup itself to determine what makes this pickup a "Custom".

Thanks for the offer, unfortunately I don't own a 7 either so I don't have much use for the Lithiums.

    Bump.
