Please forgive me of my sloppiness at writing a review.

First off I love the black and natural finish with and ebony fretboard.
Plays like a dream. Overall neck feels great and fast! Great fret job as well!
Pickups are hot and heavy. You can play really heavy stuff, with the right amp! This thing is full of shred! Pickups perfect for soloing and sweeps!
Price is right coming at 1100$ at a local guitar center! Great and awesome
    sounding guitar!!! :shred:
By the way I only played this in a metal style. So I don't know what it sounds like clean and bluesy. But I must say this is a metal guitar!!! By far the best SG I've ever played!

I hate when people complain about this being a "plywood" guitar. Yes, it's made out of multiple pieces of wood, but it's totally different from guitars that are slapped together out of plywood to cut costs. Even though I don't really like the way they look, it's an interesting aesthetic choice and a fairly clever idea.

Also, the rainbow one is so stupid because it completely kills the "zoot suit" look. It just looks like clown pants.

i think they should´ve kept the layered woods part as a top, and go with a solid body instead. sure, it looks cool, but making the entire thickness of the body with laminated woods is a bit much.

i do like the look of the pickups though, i´ve seen them in several gibsons.

Yup, the 496R and 500T are awesome pickups. They do great clean and bluesy sounds aswell, if anyone wonders. They still sound very much like the classic alnico pickups that Gibson makes, but just with a bit more output, punch and all that.

It looks more South American Indian than Zoot Suit to me, but still pretty sweet! What kind of pups are in there?
