Brief & Accurate Description of gear/guitar: Carvin DC727 , Flamed Walnut neck with maple stripes, Walnut body wings, Spalted Maple top, Ebony fretboard, diamond abalone inlays, stainless jumbo frets,
gold logo, active/passive switching system, coil taps, phase switch, dunlop straplocks
Modifications (if any): shortened the spring behind lowest saddle to increase intonation range
Accessories (hardshell case etc): Carvin hardshell case, Carvin strap, Dunlop straplocks included
Location (City,State or City,Country): Cape Town South Africa
    International OK? : Yes
Contact Info (No Phone #s) : PM on here, or wiseandevilsplinter@gmail.com
References (eBay or other forum userid): no real references, first piece of gear I'm selling used
Price (include currency and if firm/obo): $1800 obo, or 27" scale 7 strings for trade might be entertained. This is probably more attractive to non USA buyers, Carvins are cheap(er) if you're in the states!

Guitar is in good condition, I would say 8.5 :
-one small ding on the rear edge near the strap lock which is barely noticable,
-one tiny pointy bit on the tip of the headstock that was there from the factory, can be seen in pics 3 and 4,
-locking mechanism for one of the tuners is broken (g string), broke it the first time I changed strings because I'm an idiot.
Still functions as a 'regular' tuner, I've been using it like that for the lifetime of the guitar.

Otherwise it looks great and plays very well, frets are awesome and have zero wear (stainless ftw!)

The reason I'm selling is because I want a longer scale 7-string. 25.5" is great for B, and I have it working well in G#, but after trying some extended scale instruments I've found longer is better for me.
I will be using the cash to get myself 2/3rds of the way to a DC7X (probably just a longer version of this exact guitar :) )
Unless someone has one they'd like to trade. Other long scale 7 strings also welcome.

    Bump!

Would consider trades of lower value: KM-7, loaded RDG Prestige, anything 26.5" or longer (27" preferred)

More bumpage, price is obo, try me!

I should also mention I can get a really good deal on shipping thanks to my employer.
If you're interested but worried about shipping charges, hit me up, depending on where you are I might be able to get a much reduced transportation rate.
