guess i'll keep it in the family before hitting ebay. this is a one-of-a-kind rg7620m/bol. you've heard and read about the 7621m and how rare it is; this is the exact same black oil stained mahogany body but with a lo-pro edge.

everything is stock on this and condition is superbly mint. neck is perfectly straight with no fret wear. if you are looking for a metal/shred axe with a healthy dose of lows and lo-mids, this is it.

why am i selling you asked? first and foremost, i am not a trem player. i don't mind having a trem although i don't use it. but the last straw is that i spent close to an hour changing strings and tuning it up on the last two occasions. :realmad:

call me a dumb ass, i don't even know i had to snip the ball ends off for the lo-pro edge. i've always been a strat player and though my strats are set up for hard tail, i never had to snip the ball ends off.

anyways, i've done a deal with battousai and a couple of other forum mates. i am also on the good traders list at the duncan forum. evilbay handle is babyleggs, 100% positive with more than 10 deals.

hoping to get $850 shipped which is close to the amount i paid including shipping and taxes. guitar comes with original soft case and will be properly boxed/packed and shipped via registered air parcel with insurance.

do pm if there's anything you need.

    thanks as always,
    dani

I'll bet it isn't one of a kind, but there really, REALLY can't be many of those kicking about man. That's a great price. Good luck. :yesway:

definitely not the only one, but its sure as heck rare. thanks for the props.

i've shipped guitars to malta and germany and its around the $80 to $100 range. so i reckon uk is not that much off the mark.

I am REALLY interested in this, and best of all I will have enough money by Saturday. Plus, I'm not overseas.

Boy, that trem looks mint, the whole guitar does actually.

If that was in the UK i'd buy it NOW, this very minute!:agreed:

I've been after another 7620 for a while and i've always loved those BOL's. Gorgeous guitar.

I think they were one of the Guitar Center Ltd. Colours run weren't they ?

Well the 7621M bol was made for the North American market so i always figured the trem version was too.
    I stand corrected.

    hey guys,

i was advised by a fellow forum member (thanks felix!) to clarify the exorbitant asking price for my 7620m.

as many of you may know, i bought this guitar for around $572 and how in seven hells do i have the cheek to sell it for $900 shipped! :realmad::nuts::noway::squint:

anyways, in addition to the $572, other charges also applies. let us do a little math.

    $572 + japanese consumption tax @ 5% = $600.60
    $600.60 + shipping/handling/insurance @ $200 = $800.60
    $800.60 + singapore goods and service tax @ 7% = $856.64

basically, i am only charging about $50 for shipping/handling/insurance at $900 shipped.

okay, i admit i was trying to get back what i paid for it as it is as new as it came since i am not a trem guy and i absolutely hated changing the strings on it.

i am not sure if this is morally right. but do any of you have a guideline as to should i sell it without factoring in the hidden cost or should i recoup the total price paid if you were in my shoes?

your advise is much appreciated (especially for future sales of gear).

    thanks as always,
    dani

I'm no expert, but your $900 price seems pretty reasonable for a limited run mahogany Ibanez 7 shipped from Singapore...

    thanks guys,

i know what to do. i will price it at my cost and offer free shipping. i reckon its fair for both buyer and seller.

    $850 shipped!

btw, i don't mind doing a trade for a mia/mij tele or strat.

preferred specs are but not limited to,

    maple fingerboard
    medium jumbo frets
    9.5" radius and above
    vintage trem for strat
    mim jimmy vaughan strat

just hit me with what you got and we'll take it from there

    thanks as always,
    dani
