Well I dig my Fryette PS-2, but certainly welcome other options if they are even better. Curious to see some samples/vids and get my hands on one too. :D Fractal stuff tends to be awesome and Cliff has a great mind and set of ears so I am excited try try the LB-2!

Wow, that looks hefty. Lots of great options right now (I like the Suhr), but I could buy that on looks alone :D

that looks incredibly disappointing, for whatever reason, if it's over or even near a grand, two notes is still the way to go, i think, and yes i'm well aware that i started a thread about the bugera ps1

    peace honkeys

I potentially like the brit/US selectable impedance curve (as a reason to justify having one of these AND the Suhr)

Now also curious how Suhr manages a balanced out without requiring any power.

No 16 Ohm in jack and only 100W ... no thanks. I'll stick with my Reload.

Might be nitpicking a bit but I wish this had an attenuator as well like the Two Notes Captor (if that thing actually ever ships...) Definitely something for me to consider though!

This is a pretty weird product for them to release IMO. I don't see how it makes sense in their lineup of mostly modelers.

Just expanding their lineup. Same reason Friedman released a full-range speaker, even though they're known for tube amps.

it's pretty logical step.. lot's of people like to use their amps and axefx just for FX...this will allow them to use their amp with axefx as FX and IR loader for silent playing/recording

There are already tons of devices that do the same thing, often with more control. 100W max also makes it a tight fit for some amps that would benefit the most from running thru a box like this.

there are tons of companies, that make similar products and people are buying them. I'm sure that fractal fan boys will buy fractal reactive load just because they'll believe that it was developed and specifically designed to work best with axe fx processors

Yeah. cliff may come off as a bit of a tool but he makes good products. This one is a bit lost on me. If it was a load box built into a rack fx8 then I could understand it, and it would be a great product. Or at least had if built in ir capability like the torpedo.

But a straight up load box seems out of their thing, no matter how many orders it has.

Please tell me that's not the size of on onkyo stereo receiver? Haha.

Bottom line is The two Notes Captor is gonna sell a lot of units at the price they have it. If this thing is crazy fractal price, only a handful of players will get it.

He can just give one to Misha and then they will sell a bijillion. Or at least one left handed one.

Actually makes sense, since he's endorsed by both Peavey (his Invective) AND Fractal.
