So after I finished studying for the day and picked up my guitar to noodle. Ended up writing and recording this tune in the next 6 hours. It's named 'Hypatia' after the first female Ancient Greek mathematician and because I've watched so much Carl Sagan recently.

Note that I used my four string bass with regular strings tuned down to drop G# for most of the song so the bass tone might be just a tiny bit absolutely awful. Hope you like it and feel free to critique as you please, it's been a while since I've mixed anything!

My friend text me about this at work and I had to wait until now to come home and listen damnit!

This mix is amazing and I think this is your best song by far. Absolutely amazing. The main riff is incredible!

Man, this is so awful. Could you TRY and sound anymore like Kirk Hammett?! And what's with the Flea bass lines?! Your drummer sucks. You should find a new one. Man....

I gots JOKES!!!! Seriously dude, beautiful work. The part at 1:48 is giggly-gorgeous. And at 3:19, I wanted to give people panda hugs. Look at me getting all sensitive. Great job! :)

You have brightened up an otherwise dreary day revising mechanics. Sounds excellent as always. Possibly my favourite tune by you so far. I wish I could write something this good in my lifetime, let alone a day.

Song is cool. I especially dig the leads during the first section of the song.

I absolutely love music, almost any and all kinds. Your music is some of the ONLY music out there that, when I close my eyes, takes me places. Can't really describe how or where, but I just feel outside myself or like I'm flying or something.

Huge thumbs up man, great stuff again!

That's one of the nicest things anyone has ever said about my music. Thank you so, so much!

Man, if people have high expectations of me, I'm probably going to deliver a dud very soon  Anyhow, thanks dude, you're far too kind!

The chugs are a bit flubby (or w/e, can't think of a better word) and too bottom heavy.

The music is 100% awesome though.
