Been playing with this for some time. I get so wrapped up in mixes and envelopes and such I often forget about the performence, but i just let some of the mistakes just go.. Drums programmed with fruity loops 4, recorded with Guitar tracks pro 2. Bass by me also...

I'll never win any awards or impress the hell out of anybody but it's fun to learn how to record this stuff ...

Tell me a bit about how you recorded this.... mic'd or direct?... etc...

My only suggestion for now is turn the guitars up! :D Actually just the rhythm tracks seem like they need a boost for the most part.

Recored direct with a Zoom GFX-5 ( before i had the Rocktron) through a ART Tube mp preamp into SB audigy 2.

My biggest problem is I can't mix down a 24 bit wav file to a mp3. So 16 bit already kills some of the livlyness. Then, all these free mp3 hosting sites ( I'm too cheap to buy space right now) cut the mp3 down to 128 kps which furthed reduces edge and clairty.

Anyway around this? Am I just missing something?...
