That title will do him a lot of good in whatever federal prison he ends up in.

Psssst. The USA launching that kind of stuff when they lost an event attribution is pretty transparent. :p

Doesn't change anything to the corruption and stuff, but don't believe for a minute the FBI is doing that for the sake of law and justice. That raid has been launched for the event money.

The WC should immediately be pulled from Qatar.
Any death in building a stadium is unacceptable.
The moment "estimates that 4,000 people will die building the stadium" was said, the brakes should have been applied putting this whole debacle at a standstill.

Any number of European Countries could co-Host the event.
UK , France , Germany, Spain , Belguim and the Netherlands have enough stadiums and hotels to handle the players and fans.
The transit times between European countries would make logistics easier for everyone.

Please no WC here, the demands FIFA places are outrageous. For the bid for the WC of 2018/2022 one of the demands was private lanes on the highway for people involved with the WC. As if the roads here aren't crowded enough already.

I'd suggest private bicycle lanes as an alternative, but by memory the bicycle lanes in the Netherlands are more crowded than the roads.

Also, the current evidence suggests that many people connected to the WC have been given enough private / free / awesome stuff that they don't even deserve directions let alone priority transportation lanes.
