I think the fact that directed us to a website that says 'question everything' leads me to believe I should question your motives for posting about such a phenomenon. :fawk:

Also, without even having looked, I'd call bullshit on 99.9% of the articles on that website on principle alone. That's the thing about conspiracy theorists and the associated theories, the very nature of the people involved and reporting done makes them suspect. Hell, Alex Jones could be 100% right on everything he's ever said and I still wouldn't trust a damn word out of his mouth due to his general tone and chosen media outlet.

Indeed. I actually missed the "question everything" part haha. This article made it's way around my facebook wall, so I gave it a read. I like how it sites 432 hz as being natural and in tune with the universe lol.

For the sake of your sanity, I hope that most of the people who posted/shared/liked it were musicians who thought it was funny and not actual conspiracy theorists who feel it has merit.

If the latter....well, I guess friends are friends until they try to probe you for evidence of your supposed abduction amirite?

So has anyone tried tuning their instruments in 432hz? I have and there's a difference, subtle but noticeable.

I would say it would sound a tad flat to our ears

I do that sometimes. Its approx 1/4 step flat. Sounds great IMO. Sometimes a riff sounds better, sometimes its worse just like with any other tuning.

I write differently in different tunings, and its like a new one for me.

Thats what megadeth's 'rust in peace' is tuned to. Ive been wanting to try 3/4 flat, but haven't yet.

Its nice to have a new uncommon tuning that makes you sound a little different than what everybody else is using.

I won't deny that the conspiracy is ....ed, it'd be a shame if people wouldn't bother trying it out though simply because of its conspiracy status.

Yeah motherfuc*er, it does make me feel one with the universe. Hahahahahaha

Killing Is My Business and Peace Sells are both tuned 1/4-tone flat. Rust in Peace is in standard.

Didn't Dime tune slightly flat at times, too? I don't know if it was exactly 1/4 step but I seem to recall him saying something about it in GW once.

Almost like it sounded a little lower? It's a mystery!
