This SG looks sick! itd be better without three humbuckers, tho
Agreed. Looks hideous with the 3 buckers but that finish is quite nice.
I used to think the same thing...
Then Tony Iommi convinced me that 3-pickup guitars are awesome.
I always thought 3 humbuckers in a SG was gnarly, imo at least.
Nice finish for sure.
Since my $200 bronze mockingbird BC Rich (first electric way back in the day ) had a shiny/sparkly paint finish, I can never really see them as anything but cheap.
The association in my head is strong, and yet I also really love that mockingbird haha. The neck has a really comfortable profile.
The only thing that bugs me about three pickup SGs is that they usually have three-way switches. Wtf?
here is my favorite 3 humbucker guitar (yes they are all mine), far right...
the guy & guitar that got me into heavy metal...
How about some details on that Charvel you're trying to hide from us?
Does it have a floyd?
I think they had Ibanez Pro Rocker bridges. Collen's was modified with a Kahler 7200.
