I recorded a few layered guitar tracks with programmed drums for this song that I wrote for my new band. What do you guys think?

To be blunt that guitar tone is really unpleasant. Sounds really muffled. Doesn't sound like a bad song but you need to change the tone. I'm not sure what you are using but yeah.

I don't know what could be wrong with your tone. Can you tell me your signal chain on the PoD?? I'm not a not an expert by any means but I can try to help.

Yeah I agree, it seems to lack the punch that I am looking for. I don't have a bass yet so there is no bass on the song. Because of that, I boosted the low-mids on the guitars to make up for the lack of bass. I am thinking that it would be ideal to cut some of the mids from the guitars and record bass to make it sound clearer.

    My signal chain:

Tube screamer > Noise gate > Amp (engl sim) > Noise gate
