I have a Helix Rack and an Ipad on an Focusrite itrack dock. I want to output sound from both together to headphones, monitor or cab. Do I need a mixer?

The itrack dock has two 1/4" monitor outputs and two XLR inputs and two 1/4" inputs, plus USB Midi.

    So the idea is:
    1. (Helix Rack pre-amp/Cab) + (ipad/itrack dock) = Single Stereo Output (headphones)
    2. (Helix Rack pre-amp/Cab) + (ipad/itrack dock) = Single Stereo Output (2x powered studio monitors)
    3. (Helix Rack pre-amp) + (ipad/itrack dock) = Single Stereo Output (cabinet)

Otherwise, how can I do this? Total noob here.

    Thank You!

Honestly just get one of the behringer xenyx models. They work fine (though I've never used the headphone out).

Theres a 60 dollar model that has enough inputs for your use case, but if you spring for the 100 dollar model you'll have a bunch more inputs in case you want to add other stuff later (vocals, laptop, another guitarist) .
