I recently was in the market for some black pole pieces for a few Dimarzio pickups I had lying around but the information online was kinda hit or miss. Local hardware stores, they're either too short, too thin/wide, etc. I heard from a few places you can get them from Dimarzio for ~$10 a set but they're not on the website; so you have to find a dealer or call them directly, which I wasn't really interested in.

Last option was to buy some in bulk, which is what I decided to do.

Installed a set of these over the weekend and they fit great and sounded great.

Since I've got a crapload of these left, I figured I'd put them up here incase anybody else was looking for 'em.

    6-string: $6.50 (12 pieces)

    7-string: $7.50 (14 pieces)

    8-string: $8.00 (16 pieces)

Note: These install using a 3/32" allen wrench

All prices are shipped (CONUS) and paypal'd. International buyers, feel free to contact me and I'll see what I can do for you.

Anybody interested, PM me and we'll exchange information.

How hard are these to install? A set of the black ones would look sick on my white LF/CL set :D

Really easy. With that 3/32" wrench, I just backed them out and replaced with a black pole piece one at a time.

Be careful not to overtighten them. When you get down to the bottom, they don't just 'stop' or bottom out like you might think. You can kinda feel it when it gets near the bottom but mostly use your eye.

Also, some of the wax from the old screws will come out when you're removing them. I used a cue-tip to clean it out of the opening before I put in the new ones, just so there wasn't a lot of white junk visible.

Black pole pieces are 1,000x sexier :D

One 8-string set left. I'm willing to break it up as a 6 or 7 string set, if that's what you're looking for.
