This is disappointing, I was hoping for a SOAD reunion, given the few dates that they are playing this year. I'd think this quashes that.

Theyve been reunited. It's just theres no plans for a SOAD album supposedly because of Serj.

Isn't Serj like a super high level avant composer now? I can imagine that he absolutely cannot be fucked to make/do metal anymore

Wow. That would be quite an achievement, because I wouldn't have rated his earlier output as even "low-level interesting".

Damn!! The new song is awesome! They(SOAD or Daron in this case) can write stuffs about genocide, war or political lyrics while maintaining catchy melodies and some heavy grooves too. Can’t for the album to come out. Since SOAD will not record any new shits, Scars’ new album will suffice for now.

oh the nostalgia, this stuff kicks me right back to 2005, never knew that Daron had a solo project... just bought the first album and it's 95% as good as a new SOAD album for me, love it!

Why does there seem to be some Persian rug fetish that follows this band everywhere? I feel like this video is half a commercial.

Kinda cool song tho. Sounds good.

Sounds a lot like SOAD without Serj for me... or rather, a song they threw away. Not bad, but rather boring.

That's pretty much what Scars on Broadway was. Daron isn't the most versatile songwriter. He has one sound he likes, and I find he does a great job with it.

What I have read is that a lot of this album IS ideas they had for a SOAD album, but Daron decided to use them for the new Scars album.

It’s not a bad tune, but I’m kind of glad it didn’t end up as a System song. The quality has gone consistently downhill since Toxicity (IMO), and I feel like this would’ve been more of a bside song for SOAD if it had come to be.
