Eh, I might as well be the one to add this photo to the thread to make up for any confusion from my photoshops ;)

Blue one? This may be me stuck in adolescence, but I can't take my eyes of off that skull guitar to see any of the others! :metal:

    That skull looks phenomenal.

    He's such an amazing artist.

I'm assuming the blue one is Misha's, the skull one I think was an "off-the-peg" sale idea, no info on that natural one 2nd from the left though. How dare someone order Daemoness and not post extensive build pics and specs on ss.org!

My very first custom, 2nd guitar, and the only guitar I played for more than a decade, is similar to the blue one, though without the attitude:

The skull... how is it done? I'm having a hard time with the idea that it could be a vinyl print shrink wrapped over the top...

It's all handpainted. As a bonus, the inlaid flies have real flies' wings.

^Approved! It just looked too good to be true. But it was. Skulls with ears?

Any reason why there's not some fancy stone making up the flies' eyes? The rest of it looks so 3D, I think that'd have been the final illusory touch

Regarding the ears, this is what Dylan has said in response to a similar question on the Dæmoness facebook page:

"If you saw the guitar in the flesh you would see the detail and it would be more apparent what is going on. As the body rots, the ears often dry out and dessicate slightly as the rest of the body reaches a more advanced state of decomposition. You often see photos of corpses with the ears still on or basically the last thing to go."

Nice! I sort of like it just like that, but I assume it's just not as far along as the others? What are your specs?

So that skull guitar is for sale? I don't see anything about it on Dylan's Facebook page. Anyone know the specs? 6 string?

Yea, I don't have specs but he mentioned it was "off the peg" back when it was sketched out on an atlantean template and back when the valkenbyrd was for sale. I think there would have been mention if someone claimed it - go for it man!
