Hey, I'm looking for a Fender jazzmaster neck. Big headstock style, maple neck with unmarked black ebony fretboard and jumbo frets. Exactly like the one on the Jim Root model. I'm looking to put it on a squire jazz or jag body, something with a hard tail. Gonna put a custom pickguard on it so it only has a bridge pickup. Someone help me out here !! 500 dollar budget and I'm losing 200 of that to the body and things. 300 dollar (give or take) budget for the neck.

Keep an eye on the In Stock Showcase on Warmoth. Tons of really good deals.

I also recommend Warmoth, not many mighty mite or allparts necks with jumbo frets. Coincidentally I'm doing a really similar project with my jazzmaster, I ended up going with a old Japanese charvel neck.

+1 for Warmoth. They have what they call "screamin deals" which are sometimes heavily discounted and offered in the showcase (in stock). I recently did two builds from them and so far the quality is fantastic. I also had really good experiences dealing with their techs/customer service folk, so I'm happy to give them a positive referral.
