Obviously, these guitars have different options than the limited run will have, but I'm more concerned about body styles.

First, the singlecut. It would be a 4+3 headstock, mahogany neck, mahogany wings, and a 3/4" plain maple cap. We do not yet have a name for this model, so if you suggest something that Rob likes and wants to use, I'll throw the stain in free.

Second, the ProtoV. It would be reverse inline headstock, a maple neck, and mahogany wings.

Both would offer your choice of a maple or ebony fretboard, Dimarzio AN7/DS7 or Duncan Blackouts, and colored stains. Keep in mind that the larger outline of the ProtoV will add to the cost (case, shipping, etc).

Once we settle on the guitar, then we can move onto scale length. Please only vote if you would actually buy the guitar in question.

Damn, either would be an awesome run. And as I'm already having that singlecuts brother being built, I suppose if I had the cash I'd go for the V maybe.

Either way, it's a good change from the SIIs

That V looks awesome.... but I'm a singlecut fan... the decisions!

An obvious name for the singlecut would be "The Classic" as it is not as full-on as Rob's other designs... and it is a classic design

I voted for the singlecut, because there are so few 7-string LP-style guitars.

EDIT: I won't be getting one, so my vote may be ignored. :D

I didn't vote since I probably wouldn't buy one because when my 2 arrive I'm going to be broke as fuck, but I'd say single cut if I was :yesway:

Dammit, that's such a hard choice. I'm going to have to say Proto V though.

I won't buy either as I prefer clear coat to oil finish for guitar bodies, but damn if that Vii-7 in the pic had a floyd on it I'd be buying it and getting a Frets on the Net pup ring to replace the EMG

(I just don't need another fixed bridge seven)

That's a tough call. Both designs rule hard, but a 7 string singlecut??? Hell yeah. I'd hit it.

I really like them both, but I think the protov will sell more.
