    Hello guys!

I wanted to share with you the process of the built of my next custom guitar.

This one comes from a (very) small builder from Switzerland. I once had the chance to play one of his guitars in a local shop and was really surprised by the quality, fretwork, and overall building of the instrument.

So decided to meet the guy (who does it apart from his dayjob) and order my own build!

We went together to chose the tonewoods, mostly local essences from an ethical tonewood distributor in France.

Here are the specs of my build:

    - Figured Alder body 2-pièces
    - AAAA Flamed maple top
    - AAAA 2p flamed maple neck (tinted)
    - Hipshot tuners, bridge (contour) and knob
    - H-H Oil City Blackbird pickups (clear bobbins)
    - 1 vol. 1 toggle 1 mini switch (neck coil split)
    - black hardware
    - satin finish "light olive green"

the special appointments of the instrument that really pleased me.
    - The neck profile is just amazing and reminds me a EBMM JP neck.
    -Compound radius (12-16").
-The neck has no truss rod. Carbon reinforced, 2-pieces, cut longitudinaly.
    - 0-fret
    - radial neck joint

and here are some pics of the first steps :)

Cool design, like the Parker’esque radiused neck heel :)

Yes, maximizes the contact surface between neck and body :)

    Here it it!

Some color tests... and the result. A great olive green will be my choice of stain for this guitar!
