Has anyone seen this? Alas, it hasn't come out in theaters in the remote northern town where I live, nor do I think it will before it's released on DVD/Bluray.

I definitely WANT to see it though. The Cold War has always been a goldmine for some really exceptional storytelling. Plus, it was directed by Steven Spielberg and written by the Coen Brothers, so I'm inclined to believe that it's a quality piece of film making.

If anyone has seen it, let us know what your thoughts are.

So, this did actually come to my corner of the universe after all. Saw it tonight. Excellent film. It is an archetypal Steven Spielberg talkie, so whether or not you enjoy those as a whole will have a large bearing on how much you enjoy this. Personally I love those kinds of movies, and thus I loved this.

How noticeable is the Coen brothers writing? Does the movie carry any of their own aspects?
I'm looking forward to seeing it, but I'm just wondering (I'm a great Coen brothers fan as well)
