    Hey guys,

    Got my Kemper.
    It's a great device.
I'm using a Sinmix 5150 MKI direct profile with an OwnHammer Zilla 2x12 IR from the HHC2.
Also bought SD3 and am loving that too.
I had to make a video with both devices.

    Hope you enjoy!

Awesome! How does the Kemper compare to the Axe FX and Helix?

You're actually the first to ask :)
    Well, it sound very good.
Of course this is completely dependent on good profiles but if you have a good profile it sounds and feels very authentic.
Does it sound like a real tube amp?
    Yes I think so.

I'm not selling my Axe FX and I also really dig Helix Native plus a few other plugins.
I think they are all great tools that can achieve similar goals.
The way you achieve those tones is quite different obviously.
Maybe I can do a comparison one day but my more recent comparisons got very mixed reactions haha.
Not sure, maybe I just need to focus on making music.

    Thanks guys!

Here is another video by the way, also with the Kemper.
This time using a profile from Mattfig based on the Camerica MTS module.

sounds great. I really would like to try a Kemper. I wonder if they are going to release a new version of it though. It's been out for a while now. Also, I notice you have a lot of guitars but not high end ones. Is that a conscious choice? Do you prefer having a lot of mid level guitars as opposed to a few high end ones? I would prefer to have three 1K guitars than one 3K guitar.

    Good question!
I've owned a few high end guitars including an ESP Eclipse, a Gibson Custom Shop LP Custom, a few different les Paul's and also stuff like Music Man Pettrucci's.
    I don't own those anymore.
They were great but I'd rather use my LTD Iron Cross than any of those other guitars.
That instrument for example feels and sounds just right for me.
Most of my current guitars are Korean and the build quality is outstanding.
I'd rather just have more options than just a couple really expensive guitars.
You can get some great guitars for around 1000 ish Euro's, so I don't feel the need to pay more.
There are just so many cool options out there these days.

I agree. I own an Ibanez Prestige RG852 but my other two are a PSE SE Mark Holcomb and an Ibanez AT 10P. The PRS SE I had plek'd though. I main difference I notice in non high end guitars is the fretwork. If the fretwork is dealt with, then there isn't much difference IMO. The AT 10P is great and plays better than any Fender I've tried but the fretwork had rough edges. Once I had then dressed, it plays awesome. Of course the AT 10P isn't cheap. It's the price of a Fender American Standard. The PRS SE plek'd, cost me $1000 and it plays amazingly. It's right up there with high end guitars IMO.

I must say that my current Korean guitars all have great frets tbh.
Of course there are always some bad apples but in recent years the quality from that factory has improved hugely.

    Hey guys,

I created a quick tutorial on loading IR's into your Kemper.
Most of you probably already know how to do this but I hope this helps for people who are new to this.
