I must say I am a bit disappointed with the video, was expecting a complete tune/song and not just a preset browsing. Was hopeful on seeing how one could really teak it into something unique in the metal world. Some weeks ago, I had the chance to try one, it got me hooked for 2 hours (give or take). I found it very interesting but the learning curve to really understand how to make use of the parameters is way huge for my time. Also, I did not find how to assign pedal functions, but I had no manual to read.

Looking forward into seeing more unique tones out of this unit applied to modern heavy music, really am. I may even forget about the AXE FX...

This is great haha. A lot of cool sounds on that synth. I would love to try one.

I just bought one of these synths and am pretty happy with it. The guitar-esque tones are really good for layering leads, but a bit artificial as stand-alone guitar parts. If you reamp it can be a lot of fun and easy to run the signal through different patches - you can get some surprising results.
