Before you blast me away saying compare them yourself, I just moved into a new house and got a great deal on a Line 6 Pod HD500X -which I have not used yet since I am still unpacking and have not set up my guitar room -nor rig. I was browsing prices for selling my Boss GT-10 and noticed prices are pretty strong. They're going for solid $250 on ebay and mine is mint. What do you guys say? Dump the GT-10 ?

Are you using them for amp modeling or effects primarily?

If you're just using it for effects then I'd say stick with the GT-10. If you want modeling too then the POD HD.

Tbh, one of the best tones i had was using overdrive in front of line6 pod hd 500 not the x one though and disabling cab simulation, then using my own cab impulses. not a big fan of gt-10 though. if using only for effects (that means no amp/cab modeling) id still go with boss though
