Thoughts? I've had Shure's and Nady's, dual and single channel, and imho they seem to take away from tone. Am I buying the wrong shit, or is that just the wireless way?

I have a samson diversitey system. It was the highest model of the low end stuff-before you get into digital this and that. It's pretty transparent as far as tone, maybe loses a little edge but nothing I can't EQ back in. But-the biggest problem I had at first was getting the levels right so the signal didn't distort. I use it for band practice and live stuff.. At home I just use a cable.
Damn thing eats batterys. So I bought a 9 volt rechargable battery. If anybody is thinking of recharge ables -spend the extra money and get the nickle metal hydride composition type. Last longer and don't have "memory effect"...
