    Guitar it's in : Carvin DC727C
replaced stock neck pickup (which BTW wasn't bad, much better than
    the stock bridge.)

This pickup was much easier to dial in than the Nailbomb was
at the bridge. The ColdSweat seems to sound good at any given height
and has officially become my favorite neck pickup.
The easiset way I can describe the tone I get out of this pickup
is to say "Take the best tones from a Duncan 59,and the Best tones
from a Duncan Jazz and blend them together."
This pickup is chimey and clear but not overly bright , and can get
nice and thick if you throw more gain at it or bring it up closer to the strings.
I was going for a Vinnie Moore , Yngwie -ish type of neck tone for leads
and I dialed it in and it delivers.
This pickup also sounds amazing clean and tapped.
I love the Jazz but sometimes it's overly bright and I love the 59 neck
pickup but sometimes it's a little dull.
The ColdSweat takes the best from both and puts out beautiful singing
    tone.

The NailBomb + ColdSweat combo makes for a very
versatile H/H combination that will cover just about any style you need it to.

I've been a Duncan guy my whole life as I love the JB, Sh-5 and the 59/Jazz
but I feel these BK's take it up a notch and deliver great tone and add
character to the guitars that they go into.

As I said in my other review, the only down side to these is cost.
If I could get them for the same cost as Duncans, all of my guitars would have them in there. :yesway: :yesway: :yesway: :yesway: :yesway:

:yesway: Best neck pickups I've ever played. :agreed: And only a bit more expensive than Duncans etc. in Europe, so definitely worth it.

Review pretty much nails the whole reason this neck pickup is awesome. It is very seymour duncan-ish with regard to a bitey feel, but sounds lush and full. Truly an awesome neck pickup, agreed!

I myself swear by C/S necks too. Got myself a beautiful burnt chrome covered 7 neck and it's the best thing for defined, chiming cleans ever. I'm looking to put up an instructional video soon for some AAL materials using this badboy- and it's GOOD!
