hey everybody I had previously been a forum member some years ago but had taken a forced hiatus (made some mistakes in my life way back and had to go away for a few years) but the good news is I'm new and improved and a better man than I was and my love for guitar and music is as strong as it ever was. I even had the pleasure of adding some new beauties to my stable in the last year or so.

I look forward to being a part of the forum once again!

    Cheers to everybody!

I had been in a band for a few years a while ago but nowadays I just write and play at home for personal enjoyment, although I'm definitely wanting a recording setup of sorts soon to get my ideas down

My current setup is in my signature line btw

I think the Kemper effectively ruined my amp GAS for the long run.

I've owned many amps over the last 20 years. A couple of different mesas, peavey 6534, splawn nitro, etc. they all had good qualities but I always yearned for something that wasn't there. The Kemper really covers all my bases and even some I didn't know I liked lol.

I've got some Friedman and Marshall plexi profiles that sound so organic and alive that I have to remind myself I'm playing through a glorified computer lol

And I'm a diehard metal guy

I had completely forgotten my old SN seeing as it had been almost 6 years since I've been back here. A look through the archives led to me find my old name was FLgearnut.

I had submitted a bunch of NGD posts for my old BRJ Jekyll 7 string and a really nice Jackson USA soloist I had scored used.
