I just wrapped it up, and man...it was amazing. Justin Cronin is a great writer. The books are titled, "The Passage", "The Twelve", and "The City of Mirrors"

I know the whole post-apocalyptic thing has been done, but his take on it is really solid. These books are like reading "The Stand" on steroids. His take is more scientific than mystical though, which I dig.

Anyone read any of them? Thoughts?

My wife recently finished the trilogy and while she generally hates all things vampire, she loved these books. I don't read books unless the words are accompanied by drawings  but what struck me as really intriguing was the time span - doesn't it take place over the course of around 1000 years or more?
Intriguing as it is, it's also too much work for my lazy ass so I'll wait for the TV-series :mk:

Yes, the trilogy does span 1000 years. Cronin does it quite masterfully.
