I've heard he's gone between using 10-52+70 and 9-46+66 etc. I've always thought he was using 10-70 for this era but a 70 seems a lil heavy for Bb on a 26.5 inch scale. Anyone know for sure? I love the riffage on this record and this has been on my mind for quite some time.

Yep, I'm 95% certain that he used 10-52+70's on This Godless Endeavour. I was reading in Guitar World how he changed from 10-70 to 9-46+66. Back when I first got my BlackJack I tried 10-70's (tuned to Bb) and I hated it. Don't know how he used to play so well with that set up.
I use 9-46 +62 now which works well for me.

I am not sure that he was using a longer scale seven on TGE, wasn't that pre-signature model? He might of been using a 25.5 scale 7.

Pretty sure it was 26.5''. He was using a 26.5'' Schecter since 2003 or 2004.

That is correct for everything I have ever read.

I think he only recently (As in the last year or 2) switched to the 9-66 because of "getting old and the wrists needing a break".
