I was dead set on ordering a toneczar openhaus until i started reading about 3-7 year wait times lol
Any "brutal" highgain pedals out there that have lots of eq control like deep and presence and more than a single mid knob?
Seems most just go for the minimal bass mid treble. Wish that wasnt the norm.
Trying to save room on the board so i dont want to just use a separate eq pedal.
The diezel vh4 pedal seems really cool as well as the mesa throttlebox eq.
    Theres got to be others?

It really does depend on what your budget is. Amptweaker has the Tight/Fat Metal pedals which have quite a few eq options. On the 'easier to get' side of things, there's the MXR 5150 pedal which despite being called an "overdrive" has quite a bit of gain on tap. Another pretty popular pedal that's come out in the last few years is the Friedman BE-OD. just do a youtube search and you'll find dozens of samples of each.

The Friedman BE-OD and Suhr Eclipse are pretty cool.

Metal zone. I shit you not. Turn the distortion to 1 and use the eq section for shaping.

^this, especially if you get a modded one like i did. Mine is based on the wampler triple wreck and it's so good imo. If you can't find a modded one or don't want one then check out the actual triple wreck, it can do the br00tz.

DOD Boneshaker has a three band parametric EQ as well as a sort of low cut knob. I actually mostly turn the gain down on mine and use it as an EQ, but it's also got plenty of gain if you want that.

Looking for pedals with more than just bass mid treble.
Pedals i own or have owned are...
-S&k vhd (amazing but i wish it had a deep, presence & low mid controls)
-amptweaker tightmetal pro (amazing but again, wish it had more eq knobs)
    -amt p2 (same deal)
    -tech21 sansamp gt2 (same)
-seymour duncan palladium (just didnt gel with me)

Im thinking about getting one of my favs re-housed with a bbe mini sonicstomp built in) then maybe add a low-mid knob. Then id be content.

I thought J.Rockett Pedals were going to make versions of all their dirt boxes with a built in graphic EQ?

On that note, the Mesa pedals seem pretty EQ-y.

Why not a distortion pedal with a 6+ band EQ pedal after it?

Don't rule this option out. Two small pedals - for example, a BE-OD and an MXR, Maxon or even Mooer EQ - could take up less space than a big box distortion.

Or have you considered digital - the Zoom (as suggested above), Amplifirebox or Bias Stomps?

J Rockett Rockaway or the Mesa Pedals are a good bet.

The Warp Drive (more of a brutal distortion than OD in my opinion) from StoneDeaf has a VERY flexible parametric EQ.

I also found the TMPro to be very tweakable.

Yeah, the BE-OD can get into very saturated high-gain territory if you turn the internal trim pot up. I actually have the trim pot turned down, so that at low gain settings I get crunch, and turning it up gets me to JCM800 territory and beyond. Then I use the Presence and Tight knobs to taste.

Anyone try the DieFET (diezel vh4 pedal) by Master Effects?
