30inch scale? Nice!
That would be the best thing ever.
My back and shoulder are crying at the thought of how much it would weigh, but I'd still buy one.
Make a 30" scale SG, and I will buy one.
You're gonna love what I've got planned for my summer builds.
Really badass guitar!
Just thought I'd leave this here as Explorers were mentioned...
Ambler guitars, for a friend of mine
I love his solomons. Was really considering getting one for a while there. definitely one of the cooler explorer shapes out there.
On another note, I bought a squier baritone jazzmaster
NGD with pics/clips?
ehh I think I'm going to return it actually. I hate the inlays and the pickups. it works out to about the same if I get the affinity jazzmaster and slap a baritone neck on it. really the only thing this baritone jazzmaster has going for it is the strat like jack placement.
I've been thinking about getting one but ordered an Ibanez SRC6 in the end, didn't see myself getting on with the jazzmaster pickups.
thats actually why I preferred the Harley Benton version in the OP.
By stock it comes with single coils, but under the pickguard I believe is completely routed so can easily put any humbuckers you want in it.
Whereas yeah, if the P90s are not for you, you are kind stuck with them in the Squier.
Shame its not worked out but still. Thats why return policies exist.
If I could just get a simple murdered out all black one with no inlays and humbuckers (like this dunable vi) it'd be perfect.
Yeah they're pretty noisy. They sound pretty good under high gain if you can deal with the noise but they're just not my thing. I like having humbuckers with a coil split, then I can get the best of both worlds, plus there's way more options as far as pickups go.
Jeez that looks amazing!!!!
Has anyone played one?
there's a couple of guys on here that have owned/played dunables iirc. I know kevdes had/has one. none of them had the bass vi though (it's a pretty new model). From what I've heard they good solid workhorse guitars and bands like Conan are touring with them.
There's a couple on Reverb just sitting at a not completely outrageous to import to the UK sort of price.
Lewis, you go first.
