I didn't need another guitar, but, $10! Wasn't as bad as the others I've seen going for way more.
Love the cynicism behind the clickbait Pokémon-Jem thumbnail.
It's a throw back to when I bought a completely disassembled Jem 777DY on Craiglist for $80.
If the only thing wrapped was the pick guard then it is a miracle. Great find and for $10 who could say no.
It’s a bargain, but it doesn’t cost a thing to say “no.”
You're not wrong.
No, I was going to document the whole thing, as I thought it would fall through, :/
But I recently scored an old amp for way cheap and that I did document completely.
Having proof of the price makes the story better. I would think that a guitar center would pay more than $10.
But then again, it could be an older non-musician that doesn't even know what a guitar center is. lol It looks old, but in pretty good condition.
It's crazy to think that there have been cases of someone selling some amazing 1957 Strat for $30, but then they thought well it doesn't have the case better make it $20.
The pre-eBay days of guitar buying was insane.
We all took it for granted though. I really wish I had held on to some interesting pieces, but it seemed like there was always a more amazing find at the next pawn shop or garage sale or hole in the wall music store.
Nice score, lovin' the Pink Floyd
I have to say that I like it better with the yellowish pickguard than how it would look with a correct white one... the "creamy" color give it some mojo? LOL
It's a beautiful and great guitar for that price. I have played a few of those affinity strats and I would easily pay 100$ for one of those if it is fully functional like this one.
