So, like a complete dumbass I replied to your visitor message on my own user page  Here is what I wrote.

"I might be interested, if you give me a list I'll check it for anything I might want and then pass it on to friends. How's your gear selling going?

Edit: I just noticed that my avatar is a comic cover. Fitting [IMG]"

Yeah, I remember the one you're talking about. Can't say I've watched it yet, though. Just added to my "to do" list.

Ever end up selling the comics?

I'm a total Star Wars nerd. If you remember, they did a Star Wars holiday special in 1978 that was a total flop. Well, the BIG "OMG! HOLY SHIT!" commercial they had premier during the special was for "TOBOR" which was a remote control robot for kids:

      YouTube - Tobor

...an inside joke among Star Wars guys was the fact they made the moto "TOBOR is 'ROBOT' spelled backward". Since I'm in marketing, I always found the whole thing particularly funny so I stuck it in there to see if anybody else knew the joke.

My guess is that the MySims developers were Star Wars geeks as well and decided to do that as an inside joke.

Thanks man, I hope my recent lazy streak doesn't carry into college though haha.

Yeah, even though the bj + his ds-1 actually sounded pretty good backstage, it got completely lost in the mix

I know him! He's a jazz major now right? I played a few shows with him for with this show choir shit. And yes, the Universe was pretty awesome, and he was a pretty good player. Unfortunately, he was running through a blues junior and you couldn't hear him during the show

He was just toting it around the streets, no case . I think I was near the primary school, but was apparently in a big hurry

I know! I have to confess I stole it from someone from another forum, but when I saw it I felt like I had to!

It's pretty sad, but whatever floats their boat I guess. I did see a guy with a uv777bk the other day, but I didn't get a chance to talk to him and play/steal the guitar . I guess there are a few people in Columbia with at least good tastes in instruments.

Yeah, and I don't have a problem with it, but it's so hard to find drummers and bassists with any interest in progressive stuff

      What band were/are you in?

I think the worst thing that happened to me yet was when my cable came unplugged as soon as I stepped on stage. Some snotty nose fatass kid was sitting on it:lol:

The only songs worth mentioning are a lady gaga song and this one YouTube - Wilson Pickett - Land Of 1000 Dances - Live `66 (the wilson pickett one is where the solo is.)

I guess it was a good experience, and I'm glad I started out doing easy songs, since I somehow managed to screw even them up a few times.

It was pretty awesome for what it was. Our music selection sucked, but the crowd seemed to like it. I have a little solo part where I jump on stage (we normally play behind risers) and play this shitty little pentatonic solo. I don't know what came over me but I threw my pick into the audience when I finished. I ended up getting a standing ovation. Go figure

Oh yeah, and our bassist was too busy working at winn dixie to bother showing up
