Paul Allender, eat your heart out...

What do you reckon? Blue or purple?

I turned it on and it started crackling. Took the lead out the amp and it kept crackling and then went BANG! Something is frazzled, but it ain't the valves. Needless to say, it's going back....

Wut? What did you do to it...?

He is freakin' HUGE these days. :agreed:

There's not as much simpler riffage a la Train of Thought (specifically "In the Name of God") either, which I really miss. It's what made them "metal" in the first place.

They've got to start being honest with themselves. LaBrie... He needs to go.

      :ugh: Sytematic

      :noplease: Black Clouds

BTW, check out the mockup Randy made for me, complete with 28" scale. :D

I think we're at cross wires here.

C standard on "standard" scale = arse. :agreed:

Thus, the low B obviously does too. Even more so, cause it's lower.

The whole point of my 28" (that what she said ) is that I can use light strings and still achieve the same tension. The longer scale sounds brighter anyway.

Combined with a BK Miracle Man bridge, I should have a riffing machine. :hbang::

Check her out, I will. :yoda:

B is below C, genius :fawk:

Coming from the same guy who told me "unless you were going below standard, baritone scales were pointless."

I know I'm tuning to "standard seven string tuning," but it's still below standard on a "normal" guitar. :D

Ideal solution is fanned frets, but I'm not made of cash... :(

The baritone? I haven't heard anything from ET. From what I can make out, he's pretty swamped with orders. My fault for starting a thread.

I'm in no hurry, but it should be nice when it's done. Hopefully get a royal blue flame maple RG body to go with it. Either that or PRS Allender purple.

The focus is on actually playing just now , especially with the exams coming to a close, but yes, I'm looking forward to having it completed.

I thought they'd be too high output for you. Something about "the sound losing all the guitar tone" with such high output. ;)

I have a CS neck for teh br00tal baritone 7 ov d00m, but I haven't had it in yet. Been playing the ES335 all the time these days.

Well, if I don't like it, I'll send it back. Tim's a nice guy, he'll understand.

I'll probably end up with a set of Stormy Mondays, which are like, a third of the output of the Nailbomb.

Abby and I finished about two months ago, mate. I can fap over whatever the Hell I want. :D

:nono: It should. If the player wants teh Opeth tone, at least. :D

Teh chick? Search "faith lightspeed," "piper fawn" or "ariel redhead." They're all the same. Though not in your front room - have SOME taste. ;)

Aye. Ramsay seems a happy camper. :D

I've got a Nailbomb coming for my ES335. Yes, you read that right.

Working environment... It means I can't procrastinate - like I am doing just now .

Cool stuff. :hbang: Can it do teh br00talz? :)

Nitto. Revising like there's no tomorrow - in sk00l. \m/ :hbang: :metal:

      Need four Bs - minimum.

      It'll have to do.
