Haha, we should do something like that! I would like to see the OAF. Got the 8 a few hours ago but I'm away from the axe2 till Sunday!

Ah. Yay, BKPs. I am 100% behind them. My maho/maple/rosewood 6 with BKPs is tighter and clearer than my maho/maho/ebony 8 with EMGs. Still waiting on my custom due to SD's screw-up; all the pups in it will be completely new to me, so it could be great or a disaster or anything in between! Call Herb David and ask to talk to one of their techs and maybe they can give you a quote. If there are other options in the immediate area, I'm not aware of them, but I can't say I have any complaints with HD other than maybe the price, depending on what you're going for.

The guys at Herb David have done me right a couple times, but it's like fifty bucks per pup. Oz's Music has a tech contact who will do it for a bit cheaper I think, but he has to take it down to his shop in, like, Milan. If it's more than pickups, the mod guy Dave at Herb David did excellent work on my Tele, and went out of his way with extra little stuff free of charge. Besides those two places, I guess there's Guitar Center in Canton... Which guitar/pickups?

Thanks for the thanks! I posted about the Alumitones a while back. Being a total moron I've only just seen your message now. I'm so sorry for taking so long to reply.

It's actually a GFS Retrotron Nashville. I love the tone and output, and wish they would make pickups for ERGs. I have asked them about it before and they said they probably wouldn't put the work into it.

Push the root and 3rd and it's still the tonic chord. Works nicely, I think.

Are you a U of M music student or something? I'm kinda getting that impression, haha.
