You can, just be prepared to need to provide some proof that you're not a scammer to potential buyers/sellers.

Things like a verified PayPal, etc.

Well I'm actually out on the coast, but people know where Forks is...maybe...so I put that. But you're in PA huh? that mean you're going to buy my K7 after I get my custom Mayones??? haha

Some people do it on guitar. I don't usually.

It's common for vocals, snare drums, kick drums and bass guitar.

Is there ever a wrong usage of it? No way. It CAN work for everything, just doesn't work universally. Like everything else in mixing.

Well, to put it simply, it's having two tracks with identical waveforms playing but one is compressed (usually a lot more than you normally would if it were by itself) and blended with the (usually) uncompressed track. This typically fattens up whatever your PC'ing.

I could see that. I control the volume with my axe fx and the speaker so its nice and balanced for me. try turning the volume down on whatever you're running it into

I really like them. I liked the description of them and I knew when I bought the S420 that the stock pick-ups would be going - quick! Everybody had been raving about the Blackouts but few had been trying the EMTY's I think because of the Slipknot connection which like 'em or not is silly. I don't have a standard set of blackouts to a/b them. So not sure how to compare them for you? My overall favorite pick-up is the S/D distortion but I would not be against installing another set of these in another guitar. Very tight sounding but less compressed than EMG's IMO. Great for high gain - I think they can also do cleans very nicely. Unless your amp setting will allow some break-up then of course as hot as these things are they will definitely add a nice crunch. Mick has a couple of guitar models now that come stock with these - see if you can hunt one of those down locally to try them out.

they've been great so far. I've used them at a couple loud jam sessions now, but no issues whatsoever! how's yours?

I've actually been offered a Regius 8 for good money so wouldn't be against selling it now. I'll be advertising at $2750 + shipping but am considering any and all offers.
