I like slanted pickups for multiscale. Straight pickups give a warmer sound. Slanted pickups are available, contact the pickup manufacturer.
The thing with the vader is it positions the neck closer to the player. So, the 27 inch scale does not feel as long. The longer scale reduces...
Carvin offers the best bang for buck. They are very high quality.
It's pretty good. The music needs a bit of work yet, but its got all the elements there. Definite Seasons/SOH influence.
