ya know, its obvious evolution is real, but one way i like to think about it is - a cheetah can run at what, 65mph? Something like that, an ape is multipul times stronger than we are, a squirrel can climb a tree in seconds. Can we do any of these things? No. But can any of these creatures build things? Make thoughts and predictions like we can? no.
We are animals with an evloved brain. All the other animals evolutionary paths were focused on their bodies, and we are the first stab at evolutions attempt to try to develop the brain. If you look at nature there are tons and tons of crazy fucked up animals that are going to be extinct or have gone extinct that look like and function like a failed attempt to try out new things. Hell, some species of creature are so ridiculously specialized, that while they own in their own enviornment, they also depend on it so much that they would go extinct with out it.(like a seadragon, ya know the little seahorses that look like kelp) or harliquin shrip(they ONLY eat starfish and are dependent on finding them). So it would seem to me that its not unreasonable to acknowledge that evolution just had not got an animal with the right set of circumstances to try out the brain evolution till us.
Once scientist in the first videos posted in this thread brought up a good point as well. If there was a creator that made us, then he sucks badly because many of the designs creatures have are just not very good. I mean, what the heck are wisdom teeth for? Or apendixes there for? Why do you have a tailbone? Its obvious they are parts we used in the past but havent evolved out just yet.
