I had this ordered a while ago, its was 21st birthday present from my Mum and Dad

Ive never actually had a nice 6-string guitar, mine have all been cheap indonesian/korean copies...until now!!

Couldnt be bothered with a picstory, straight to the good stuff!!

I scored myself a Vigier last week, they are truly awesome instruments.

Im really happy with the way the finish came out, I was a bit nervous about how the wood would turn out but its perfectly bookmatched, I loves it!! The neck has a satin-feel which is perfect for me as I really dont like gloss necks, and the fret-access is actually better than any of Ibanez Ive ever played. Trem flutters exactly how I like, pickups have exactly enough power for what I want, plenty of grunt with clarity, I loves it

Its Shawn Lane/Guthrie licks all night long on this thing...

Well, I'm only sticking a BKP in the bridge for now. The single coils sound like they have great potential, but are being strangled by those 1meg pots. Once I get some 500ks in there I imagine they'll do me just fine.

OP: Congrats on the sexual new guitar and kickass rig! I think the first Suhr I ever saw was in that same color scheme, and layout, etc. It still makes me swoon.

Ive been playing it for a few hours now and I think I can honestly say Im done with Ibanez. Ive been playing them for...as long as Ive been playing guitar! But having now seen what the Vigier custom shop can turn out for endorsees in small UK bands, I think Im sold. If I can get a 7-string version of this guitar in black flame with black scratchplate and jumbo frets, thats like my perfect custom!!
