sweet deal man. I can't even imagine undertaking a job like that. Where'd you learn to make guitars???
And what're your plans for a 7? And what do you think you'll be charging? |

Wow man, I'm generally not a big fan of guitars with outside-the-box shapes, but those are pretty damn sick
Seriiously, that is freakin awesome, and I really dig the finish, too.

![]() I like the way the two guitars share common shapes in the bottom, similar to the way the Dean ML and V sharing common lower wings. It's a nice way to create a line of guitars with brand awareness, as both are instantly recognizeable as your designs. ![]() |

yeah thats what i've been going for thus far with my designs, but today i designed a super strat... and i tried to tie in the really thin waist on my first guitar and a bunch of my other designs, so it still looks like something i made... its a bit smaller in general than most super strats, with a thinner waist, and SG style bevels... i'll post a scan of it tonight in the 7 string section(since its a 7 string design haha)... i designed it for a friend of mine who is interested in one, and one of his complaints was the RG/UV/JEM lower horn was too close to the neck(not an issue for me, but he plays differently from me), so i took my RG7421 out and put it up against my origional drawing of this super strat design, and took the lower horn down about 1/4" or so... and i made the upper horn stick out the same distance as the lower, but its asymmetrical like a super strat typically is... and the body meets the neck in the lower horn area between the 23rd and 24th fret, so fret access is a non-issue. i think it looks cool, i'll have it online in about 4 or so hours. |

i picked up my Rhoads V today, messed around on it for a minute, and found i far prefer the feel of the neck on my guitar to the Rhoads! its just a little bit sweeter, but that little bit is a world of difference when playing the 2...
