thanks... now times that by about 10 million, and thats how i feel right now, with it in my hands playing it

ok heres a better recording, and you can compare this new guitar to my Rhoads V... the Rhoads V recording the leads are double tracked with both the x2n bridge pickup and the PAF reissue neck pickup, and the clean tone is all the bridge x2n... the new guitars recording is ALL done with the neck pickup, including the clean tone...

the new guitar sounds a heck of a lot more pleasant for this track - nice and warm. But the V has a lot more articulation - but i'm sure that's just the bridge pick-up doing its thing.

the track reminded me of one of the songs on Death's TSoP record (that instrumental ballad where chuck goes nuts), which of course is a good thing

Elysian, you have again proved yourself to have an amazing skill. Every time you post pictures of your creations it gets better and better. I can only imagine the joy you must feel to not only be finally playing an instrument of such obvious quality, but to have built that work of art yourself.

thanks, i'm glad more people are picking up on the Death influence... chuck is a huge influence to my playing, and when i started writing this tune i figured i'd at least put the well placed string noise in to kind of pay homage... the rest of the tune isn't too similar to voice of the soul, but theres nothing wrong with that lol...

I don't care what anyone says, that headstock OWNS. It matches the inlays? Perfect.

It may be nice to get exactly what you want from a custom builder, but I bet it is ten times more gratifying to build exactly what you want.

thanks dude, i'm real partial to it, i think it works quite well... and yes, it is great to build exactly what you want, but i'm not quite there yet, theres still more to learn about the whole process before i get to exactly what i want. but i can say this, i will never buy another manufactured guitar again.
