Meh, I'm not a fan of Conklins 'Sidewinder' shape.

I think the body is a little extra wide... that looks odd. The normal Sidewinder bodies are awesome.

Lemme get this straight...he's switching from tap and shred...to bluegrass?

That's quite the dramatic swing.

And why not play both?

Have you guys ever listened to bluegrass? They're a certain amount of really fast pickin' in that sport aswell!

"and we'll also be establishing, beyond all scientific doubt, that ANY note can be made to sound good over ANY chord, so long as you put it in the right place!" Guthrie Govan

Damn that's gorgeous. That's the most perfect headstock shape I've ever seen...

The scalloping and the knob-placement gets a though.

Looks like the photo got squished somehow.

That is some ridiculous knob placement. How do you even reach the middle one?

That's quite a major hit he's taking on the price. I'd say keep it and play both, my old guitar teacher does. He played in metal bands all through the 80's and up to the mid 90's when they were offered a deal, but the rest of the band didn't want to go for it. So he say "Fuck this, I'm off to join a bluegrass band" and that's exactly what he did. If anything I'd say some of the bluegrass stuff is harder than shred.
