On the subject of 'odd' shaped guitars does anyone remember the 'Bender Distortocaster',lol?

This one has been in the same guitar store for years (over here in the UK).It's actually a really nice guitar soundwise but it's not the most practically shaped guitar.
It's got the original hard case with it which is fuckin' huge, lol.

The guy also made a bass version(the Bender Collision Bass!).

I guess when you're serving years in prison, nothing seems too meticulous.

And if it is any consolation Chris, I'm sure 20 years from now I'm going to run into someone who calls all of the music I listen to crap, and then I'm going to feel highly offended.

"Dude, this shit sucks put on something else."

"What! That's a fucking classic right there!"

Yeah, wait until the most influential songs of your guitar playing start appearing on classic rock stations. Humbling, that. Crazy Train is there. *sigh*. I'm old.

Talking about songs we grew up with being classics now--and speaking of Crazy Train. I couldn not believe the first time I went to a Jacksonville Jaguars game and over the PA comes HAHAHAHAHAHA and then I hear Randy Rhodes playing guitar. Remember when Ozzy was the devil and you couldn't listen to him without people accusing you of worshiping Satan? Now he's America's favorite Dad. Man things change. I actually heard an intrumental version of Free Bird in the Grocery store the other day.
