dysfctn is on a distinguished road
Well I'm totally wanting to buy one of these...
http://www.musicyo.com/product_specs.asp?pf_id=898

Does anyone know where I could get one in Australia? Or would I have to order from that website?

I'm going to be in Europe in July/August - is there any distributors there that carry them?

Appreciate your help!

i just picked up a '88 gr-4 in a trade. it's pretty awesome. apparently it's a newburgh as well.emg's etc. it has to be one of rhe most comfortable, fluid guitars i've played. it's been my main six lately. it might be the graphite neck?

Hehe good to see this thread back again!! I'm really considering a white newburgh model as my summers 'big guitar purchase'

I dare all of you to go on youtube and watch the video for death - lack of comprehension and then say that you don't want a steiny

Not to mention, a full string change in less than 3 minutes! With the lack of a headstock, the guitar sits in perfect playing position & balance.

Just for kicks, here's an old pic of me with my beloved Steinie w/ thicky strings in Bb tuning.
Cool pic, Shannon and very nice Steinberger, that's the best looking one i've ever seen. You should've kept that one.

The Newburgh ones look awesome.

They've got a scratch-and-dent white GM4T on sale at MusicYo for $999. Pretty amazing for a Steinie with a TransTrem. (Check out some of their other sale stuff... mad prices on maple-fretboard Striker models!)

Steinberg IMO looks very strange, but i have to say that those guitars always are tuned and have an exellent quality!

That black one that shannon posted it's beatyfull, and that green one that he had looks very nice, and more tuned on Bb hehe.

Steinberger have a 7 string model, or maybe produce them one or they'r going to produce them?

I'm guessing that you're asking if they've ever done a 7-string. No, they haven't unfortunately. Otherwise, it would be my #1 axe.
