Hey Shannon, does that R-trem have a spring cavity? It says it is a fulcrum trem, which is different from the 'burger trems I'm used to seeing. The T and S trems are very Kahler-like.

None of their trems have a spring cavity. Instead of a route on the back of the guitar, the trems have 1 large spring located under the trem housing.

Interesting, so the R is a blend of Kahler and Floyd designs.

Well, the R-trem is all contained in one housing.

Anyone interested in a "spirit Steinberger?" A friend of mine is selling his V looking spirit, with a gig bag. It's the Red/orange burst. Its pretty god damn cool. I should have some pics of it tomorrow.

Yeah, if they made a 7 I would be tempted for sure. They play great. Never quite understood the double neck guitar/ bass thing they did. I have had a couple of those show up at work for repair. Crazy ass things,,,it's sort saying "never mind the bass player, I'll cover it". LOL

Yeah, that's about right. Personally, I would avoid the R trem--the S and T are much better designs. I loved the TransTrem on my old GL4T and would have kept it had I been able to figure out how to adjust it.
