That would flow well like that...Personally, I would've left the VSBL the way it is, maybe change the pickguard, I love white pickups.

None. I once saw someone describe the swirls as "looking like something Walt Disney puked up," and i think that's spot-on. Sure, they're so ugly they're kinda cool, but that's not pure, unadulturated lust, like the UV90th is.

I'm not a huge fan of Vai's choice in swirls. I've seen some really tasteful swirls and have some ideas that I think would look cool, but Vai's choices are all over the place. In my opinion, a swirls looks best when there's some sort of focus to the colours and it's kept relatively simple, whereas Vai picks random colours that really shouldn't go together.

The only Vai swirl I like is the DNA, and I'd damn near kill for this:

man eleven59!!!! i now know what that looks like Puke and Pepto Bismol......man that guitar makes me wanna Hurl!!! Swirls are soooo freak-n-ugly!!! That UV90th looks like something you'd buy and Smith barney's...or Tiffiny's...nice color but not for a guitar not very manly!!!

Swirls, IMO, are the ducks nuts.

Although I must say I'd take that UV 90th if the finish was green instead of blue...ooh yeah.
