That is wicked. They really come up with some awesome finishes for his guitars. I don't know why but lately I keep obsessing about the old floral pattern.

Those Jem90th's sure are nice. I'd love to have one of those.
The local music store back home had one of those forever. I'd always go in and play it. Then one day I decided that I wanted it so I went in to grab it and it had sold just about an hour before I went in to get it.

And it had been there for so long that they were letting it go for pretty damn cheap.

Yeah. At least that way I was able to afford x-mas presents for my family that year.

Then just about a year ago, I found that I guy I was working with was the one who bought it. I kept telling him that he should sell it to me.

And my girlfriend is bound and determined to get me one someday.

I need a girlfriend to buy me a guitar, then when my parents walk into my room and a new guitar is there they can't have a go at me like they normally do \m/

I like that finish, but I couldn't have green pickups & knobs with it. But hey, it's Vai and he likes things to look a bit odd.

From my experience girlfriends are more likely to want to steal your guitars. Not because they can play, but because your guitar is "pretty".
