If you want a newer guitar, you'll probably end up having to import one from Japan yourself if you want those specs. If you go to the Ikebe site, there's usually a whole bunch of RG variations that are made in small runs just for that store chain.

Yeah they do. i know someone who'se had one a couple of years (sold it not too long ago cause he only wanted his modded, tripped out RG450.. ended up selling like 3 guitars).. They frets on it were fine the entire life of the guitar, when he owned it.

i've got an RGT42 sitting at home in texas, first year they were made, the frets are in pretty poor shape.

they've only been out for 4 years. i got mine in january of 02, before it had even made it on the ibanez website... brook mays in plano, tx had one on the wall, and i got my mom to buy it for me while i was home on leave from the navy...
