Hungering for a strat

Karl Sanders from Nile uses an old beat up Strat to record some of the heaviest music ever. Personally, I hate strats and would never get one. Too many other things I want first. I've played some I liked, but they're just not me.

Yeah, an old beat up Strat with an INVADER in it......

Some how it's just not quite the same.....

I would love to play one of those actually, they look real nice and from what I've heard on his forum, a few people own them and they sound real nice!

I think Karl's is a Charvel body. Still a strat, but with a hum and Kahler...so not a strat really.

Lite Ash Strat:

Fender Japan:

Those are two really sexy Strats right there.

I've heard amazing things about the Lite Ash, and it's fairly cheap too, so I might pick one up at some stage. It's only 469 Euro here, which is a pretty damn good price, especially seeing as they're looking for e799 locally.

That Fender Japan one is sexy as hell also, but more expensive and harder to get hold of. I'd have to import it, so I doubt I'd get it any time soon. But speaking of Japanese Strats, this SRV style one is damn cool:
